ACIT contributed to the success of the Nhon Trach 3 & 4 LNG power plant project.

December 15, 2025
On the morning of December 14th, the Nhon Trach 3 & 4 LNG power plant was inaugurated and put into operation. ACIT was the unit that supplied and transported primary and secondary equipment, and the SCADA system for the 220/500kV substation, contributing to the overall success of the project.
The Nhon Trach 3 & 4 gas-fired power plant, located in the Ong Keo Industrial Park, Dai Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai Province, is the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) thermal power plant complex in Vietnam. It is invested in by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation – JSC (PV Power), a member of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group (Petrovietnam). The two plants, with a total capacity of 1,624 MW, are expected to supply over 9 billion kWh annually to the national grid, meeting the growing demand in the southern region.

One of the outstanding technical highlights of the Nhon Trach 3 & 4 gas-fired power plant is the 9HA.02 generation gas turbine system manufactured by GE (USA), a leading-edge equipment line in the world today. Thanks to the application of this technology, the operating efficiency of the two plants reaches 62-64%, making the Nhon Trach 3 & 4 gas-fired power plant one of the highest-efficiency gas-fired power plant complexes in Vietnam today.
