500kV Transformer Station and Ea Nam Wind Power Plant (Dak Lak)

Ea Nam Wind Power Plant (Dak Lak) with a capacity of 400MW and a 500kV transformer station invested by Trung Nam Group with a total investment of nearly 16,500 billion VND. The project includes 84 wind turbines, spread over an area of 6,000 hectares of mountainous terrain, interspersed with specialized agricultural areas in Ea H'Leo district, Dak Lak province. The 500kV Ea Nam transformer station has a scale of 02 500kV transformers, a total capacity of 450MVA and 02 500kV transmission lines cutting in half the 500kV line circuit 1, connecting to the transmission lines of the 500kV Pleiku transformer station and the 500kV Di Linh transformer station.

Asia Industrial Technology Joint Stock Company (ACIT) is the supplier of all equipment for the 500kV transformer station including: 500kV transformer, 500kV primary equipment, steel column and beam system and busbar connection accessories, 35kV medium voltage cabinet system, protection control cabinet system, information, SCADA and energizing services for the transformer station.

At 0:05 on August 17, 2021, Ea Nam Transformer Station - Ea Nam Wind Power Plant project successfully energized the 500kV transformer. Previously, on August 13, the project successfully energized the 500kV Di Linh - Pleiku line, a branch to Ea Nam Transformer Station. After completion and power generation, the project will contribute to ensuring national energy security, increasing local budget revenue and contributing to the State budget revenue of about 250 billion VND/year.
