After tremendous efforts, the Long Thanh Airport Energy Center – the "heart" of Vietnam's most modern airport – has been completed 9 months ahead of schedule. ACIT is proud to have participated in providing key technical solutions and equipment, contributing to ensuring the safe, stable, and continuous operation of the energy system for this national key project.
At noon on December 12th, representatives from the Vietnam Airports Corporation (the investor), along with contractors, supervisory consultants, and hundreds of engineers and workers, gathered to witness the completion of the power supply to the Long Thanh International Airport's Energy Center. This event marks a significant milestone in the investment and construction process, ensuring a sufficient power supply for the entire airport, ready for operation and the first test flight on December 19th.
The total value of the Power Center project is over 11,000 billion VND, with an expected construction time of 685 days. However, thanks to the active support from the investor, close coordination from relevant parties, and the contractor's mobilization of maximum resources, equipment, and hundreds of skilled professionals working 24/7, the project was completed 9 months ahead of schedule. "It was this spirit of working tirelessly, overcoming sun and rain, working three shifts and four teams, with no hesitation, that helped us complete and energize the entire power system of Long Thanh Airport," said Mr. Le Xuan Tinh, Project Director of Asia Industrial Engineering Corporation (ACIT).
