The project is implemented by Trungnam Group with a total investment of VND 12,000 billion, the implementation scale includes a 450MW solar power plant combined with a 220/500kV substation and more than 17km of dual-circuit 500kV transmission lines, 04 220kV transmission lines. .
Particularly, the 500/220kV substation is invested in this period with 2 transformers with a total capacity of 1800MVA, 4 compartments of 500kV, 20 compartments of 220kV, a system of line resistance of 500kV-220kV-33kV and a system of 39 cabinets. GIS medium voltage 33kV. At the same time, the project scope also invests in expanding 02 500kV lanes at the 500kV Vinh Tan substation.
A Chau Industrial Engineering Joint Stock Company (ACIT) is responsible for providing all technological equipment for the 450MW solar power plant, including: Inverter, inverter transformer, RMU medium voltage cabinet, DC collector, system AC/DC cabling system and control-monitoring system of the whole factory. ACIT is also the supplier of all equipment of the 500kV substation such as: 500kV transformer, primary equipment, medium voltage cabinet, secondary system, SCADA - information - metering system, column - beam system steel and fittings.
Up to this point, the entire work of equipment supply, construction and installation, testing and calibration of the project has been completed. The 500kV Trung Nam - Thuan Nam substation is ready for energizing and the plant is also ready for COD work. When put into operation, the 500kV Trung Nam - Thuan Nam substation will contribute to the development of the power transmission system, freeing up the power grid capacity of Ninh Thuan province, the central coastal region as well as the entire transmission infrastructure.
