At 02 am, August 1, 2021 in Dong Hai commune, Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province, 220V substation - Dong Hai Wind Power Plant Project 1 (Tra Vinh V1.7) of JSC Trung Nam Wind Power Tra Vinh 1 has successfully energised, Dong Hai 1 220kV substation includes 02 220V/63MVA transformers and 220kV transmission line. Dong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant Project has a capacity of 100MW, including 25 wind turbine towers, with a total investment of nearly 5,000 billion VND. When connected to the grid, the plant will add about 365 million KWh of electricity per year to the national energy system and contribute to socio-economic development, creating jobs for local workers. The energizing of the substation is an important foundation for offshore wind power units under the project to prepare to connect to the national power grid.
