Hai Van 2 road tunnel project

     Hai Van Tunnel Expansion Project approved by the Ministry of Transport in 2016 consists of 2 phases with the total investment of more than VND 7,295 billion invested by Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company.

     Phase 1 of repairing and upgrading Hai Van 1 Tunnel and renovating the section of National Highway 1 through Hai Van Tunnel had been completed since August 2017.

      Phase II of expanding the refuge tunnel into Hai Van 2 tunnel. Hai Van 2 is designed with two tunnel tubes of 9.7 m wide for one-way vehicles, 2 lanes of 7 m wide are ensured in each tube, pedestrian and maintenance roads are 1m wide, two safety strips are 1.5 m per each, etc.,

      In addition, the project also has work items of rescue center, fire protection, toll  plazas and technical parking station. By September 2020, Hai Van 2 Tunnel had finished construction, 3 months before the deadline of the schedule approved by the Ministry of Transport. The project has now ensured all requirements to be put into operation.

      In this project, A Chau Industrial Engineering Joint Stock Company is honored to be selected as a supplier of medium voltage cabinet systems, transformers, low-voltage electrical cabinets, tunnel lighting systems, ventilation control systems, cable tray ladder systems for the project.

      Hai Van is the longest tunnel in Vietnam, in which, the northern path is about 1.7km long, the path inside the tunnel is 6.2km long, the southern path is 4km long. In this project, ACIT JSC is honored to be selected as a supplier of medium voltage panels, transformers, low voltage panels, tunnel lighting systems, ventilation control systems and cable support systems for the project.
