Hoa Hoi - Phu Yen 220kV Substation Project (Hoa Hoi Solar Power Plant)

     On the night of May 15, 2019, 220kV Hoa Hoi station of Hoa Hoi Solar Power Plant project was successfully energized. A Chau Industrial Technology Joint Stock Company (ACIT) is the unit that designed, supplied and constructed all electrical equipment for the substation with the scale of two transformers of 220kV/125MVA, 03 outgoing feeders of 220kV transmission line, 01 220kV communication bay with protection control panel system, information system, metering system and 22kV medium voltage panel system. ACIT is also the supplier of the entire SCADA system of the 220kV substation and Hoa Hoi Solar Power Plant. In addition, ACIT is also the unit that designs, supplies and constructs the expansion of the 220kV bay at 220kV Tuy Hoa substation and new 220kV Hoa Hoi - Tuy Hoa transmission line with a length of more than 12km, as well as the construction of transit circuit connections of  Tuy Hoa 220kV – Song Ba Ha transmission line to 220kV Hoa Hoi substation.

     Hoa Hoi solar power plant was started construction in November 2018 on an area of ​​260 hectares, with a capacity of 257 MWp and a total investment of over VND 4,900 billion by a consortium of BGrim Group (Thailand) and Truong Thanh Group Vietnam and consulted by a global corporation, POYRY.

     The project was completed and put into use after just over 6 months of design, equipment supply and installation, the project  was completed ahead of schedule and  quality of all categories was guaranteed in accordance with approved design, and applicable standards.

      Putting Hoa Hoi 220kV Substation of Hoa Hoi Solar Power Plant into operation is an important step for commissioning and stable operation of the plant in the near future, contributing to ensuring energy security as well as creating many jobs for workers and contributing significantly to the local budget.
