Ton Hoa Sen - Nghe An 110kV substation project (power supply for Hoa Sen steel Factory)

With the successes achieved and trust gained from large corporations in Vietnam, ACIT continued to be selected as the supplier of 24kV medium voltage switchgear system, circuit breaker and current transformer system and Scada for 110kV Substation of Hoa Sen Steel Factory.

     The project has a total area of 35 hectares, including a cold rolling line with a total capacity of one million tons per year and two galvanizing steel lines (500,000 tons per year). The plant is also designed for acid regeneration, rust removal, edge trimming and steel coiling with a design capacity of hundreds of thousands of tons per year.

      Making a speech at the groundbreaking ceremony of the factory in Dong Hoi Industrial Park on the morning of June 19th, Mr Le Phuoc Vu, Chairman of the management Board of Hoa Sen Group said: “We believe that with the available competitiveness, along with the expansion of the production system in Nghe An using modern technology, Hoa Sen will meet the needs of domestic and international customers with the motto “selling at the right price, standards and quality”. Mr Vu won the ward “EY- Entrepreneurs of the year 2014” and was the only representative of Vietnam to compete in the final round of “EY- Entrepreneur of the year” in Monte Carlo (Monaco) in early June, 2015.

       Dong Hoi Industrial Park is located in the North of Nghe An, in the key economic zone, 5km from Nghi Son deep water port (Thanh Hoa), 1 km from Hoang Mai station and 5km from national highway 1A, North-South Railway. Thanks to its favorable location, this is a convenient place to import and export raw materials and easily transport goods to Laos, Thailand, etc.,

      Appreciating the development potential of Nghe An land in general, however, Mr. Vu said that this place has not been properly exploited. “We hope that with this cooperation, Hoa Sen can develop the full potential of this place”.
