Van Phong - Khanh Hoa 500kV substation project

    Van Phong 500kV transformer station was built in Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province. Extension of 220kV junction at Van Phong 220kV substation in Ninh An commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province. The project is assigned by the Electricity of Vietnam to the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) as an investor with a total capital of about VND 1,098 billion. The main scale of the project includes: installing 2 new 900 MVA transformers; 6 500 kV feeders; 13 220 kV feeders.

    This is an urgent power project in the National Electricity Development Plan in order to ensure a safe and uninterrupted power supply for the load in Khanh Hoa province and neighboring provinces, to meet the needs of economic development. the society of the key economic region of the South Central Coast; clearing capacity of Van Phong 1 BOT power plant and capacity of renewable energy power plants in Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces, contributing to ensuring N-1 criteria, increasing strengthening and stabilizing the power system, improving the reliability and safety of electricity supply for the national power system and is considered as the most important transmission grid project in the period of 2021 - 2022 at present.

    Participating in the project of Van Phong 500kV substation, ACIT is the supplier of two 500kV/900MVA transformers, the entire 500kV, 220kV first equipment, busbar connection accessories,... Exam time The duration of this project is very short compared to other projects of similar size and nature. In addition, ACIT in particular and related units also face many difficulties such as: the Covid pandemic is complicated, there are periods when most localities are locked down with no end date. In the end, the price of fuel, gasoline, labor increased sharply, the war between Russia and Ukraine greatly affected the supply chain of goods, logistics, etc. However, with the determination to fulfill the original commitment, Keeping credibility more than gold, all staffs of ACIT have tried their best to find all solutions to overcome difficulties. Not only providing materials and equipment in a timely manner, ACIT also completed the project ahead of schedule.

    At 9:26 am, on November 28, 2022, the 500kV Van Phong substation project was successfully tested and energized, 27 days ahead of schedule. This is a testament to the capacity, prestige and once again affirming the value of the ACIT brand.
