Around 19:30 o’clock on October 21, 2018, Dong Bai 110kV substation was successfully energized to ensure safe, stable and reliable power supply for Vinfast Factory – the first Electric motorbike & automobile factory in Vietnam invested by Vingroup on Cat Hai Island, Hai Phong
Dong Bai 110kV substation was started construction in May 2018 with an area of 7,000m2, located in Vinfast Factory complex on an area of 335ha. The substation is capable of transmitting electricity as well as supplying electricity to relatively large electricity consuming places. Therefore, in order to ensure power quality and uninterrupted power supply, Vingroup has trusted to choose ACIT as the supplier of all equipment for Dong Bai 110kV substation.
The substation is invested to build and install a 63MVA transformer, 110kV switching devices (circuit breakers, disconnectors, current transformers, current voltage transformers) & 24kV medium voltage panels manufactured by ACIT. Besides, the substation is also installed with a system of protection - control panels, a substation automation system (SCADA software, HMI, etc.,), connecting SCADA to the Northern dispatching center (A1). ACIT provides all the above products with equipment from famous brands in the world such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider, etc., and they are assembled according to strict standards and quality assurance at ACIT.
The project was completed and put into use after only about 5 months of construction and installation ahead of schedule. The quality of the work items was guaranteed to be in accordance with the approved design, supplemented design and current standards.
The putting into operation of Dong Bai 110kV substation is an important step in service of commissioning equipment and bringing Vinfast Factory into stable operation in the coming time; Pioneering to become the leading automobile manufacturer in Southeast Asia - converging the quintessence of the world's industry to create products worthy of international, etc.,
